1786 / 96 Pattern British Infantry Officer’s Sword (Sold)

Good condition English P 1786 / 96 British Infantry Officer's Sword.

An increasingly difficult to obtain, widely collected sword. The 80 cm blade retains much blue and gilt etching and is firm in the rigid double shell brass with wire grip hilt. There is a bend / kink near the end and signs of a period (well made) repair. Further pictures available upon request. My item reference number is 152 (23)
