18/19C Khanda Hilted Firangi Cavalry Sword For Sale

Likely a late 18th or early 19th Century Khanda hilted firangi cavalry sword with imported European (probably Spanish) blade.

This firangi has a massive 40 inch European blade coming from its silver worked hilt. Prized amongst Indo-Persia, these swords were status symbols with their imported European blades as well as being pretty effective cavalry lances. Everything in good order for the age.
