Good condition Victorian (1837 to 1845) British Infantry Officer's
Sword with etching remaining.


This Victorian 1822 pattern infantry sword is in generally good
condition with working folding guard, worn (texturally) but complete
fishskin grip (twisted wire bindings firm and intact), plus steel
field service scabbard intact, albeit surface rusted in places.
The 77 cm blade has the original etching still visible, including
maker's name "Rogers & Co King Street London (Covent Garden)"
on the ricasso. Further pictures available upon request.
