An 1827 pattern Victorian British naval officer's sword, scabbard
and all weather bag (1857 - 1890); original owner name inscribed.
 

Very good condition example of a Frazer and David of Portsmouth
(1857 to 1890) made 1827 pattern British Royal Navy Officer's sword,
with etching still clear and very little patina for a naval sword.
Complete with scabbard, sword knot and all weather bag with original
owner name "Lieu J B (indistinct - possibly Hasson)" enscribed
on the folding guard (someone may be able to determine the name
and thereafter trace the owner via the National Archives site).
The 77 cm blade is firm in the hilt and the folding guard working
/ intact. Further pictures available upon request.
