Very good condition 1831 Pattern British General's / Staff Officer's
sword made by Manton & Co.


A senior British officer's mamaluke sword in very good condition
with grip intact and undamaged brass scabbard. Etching on both sides
of blade including makers name "Manton & Co" (London
and Calcutta). Fine etching, detail to backpiece, ivory handle with
detailed brass slugs plus proof slug visible under langets show
this to be an authentic mamaluke (so many are reproductions) and
in very good condition. Further pictures available upon request.
