18C - 19C Kundan Gold Hilted Rajput Tulwar Sword (Sold)

Very good condition late 18th or early 19th Century Kundan gold hilted Rajput Tulwar.

The triple blood grooved / fullered curved blade has an amount of patina but is in very good condition besides, and is firm in the hilt. The hilt is one of the most spectacular I have ever seen, superbly gold embossed. The sword generally is in very good condition with the 82 cm blade showing clearly the maker's mark.
