1912 Pattern British Cavalry Officer’s Sword (Sold)

Generally good condition, British 1912 Pattern Cavalry Officer's Sword with Scabbard by Wilkinson.

The serial number 87671 on the blade's spine dates this sword to 1965 and hopefully therefore the original owner could be identified as the Wilkinson sales ledger still exists. The blade has been buffed and with it the etching has become less distinct, the inner sleeve of the scabbard has clearly partially or fully gone as the sword is not held firmly in place, plus the grip's ring bindings are loose (although complete) at the far end; otherwise everything seems good.
