Good condition, rare American Revolutionary War AKA American War of Independence era British infantry officer's short sword (spadroon).

An American Revolutionary War (American War of Independence) era British infantry officer's sword, a spadroon (short sword) in good overall order, though clearly aged.

The typical 24 1/2 inch double fullered / grooved blade is in good order and firm in the hilt. The hilt has a little gilt remaining and the ebony / ebonised wood grip is on good overall order too.
