WW2 Japanese Gendaito Shin Gunto by Muto Hidehiro for sale

A superb gendaito ww2 Japanese army officer's shin gunto from one of the leading Rikugun Jumei Tosho swordsmiths, Muto Hidehiro.

With clear Nioi (cloudy lining) to the Yakiba (hamon), this superb shin gunto by renowned Rikugun Jumei Tosho swordsmith Muto Hidehiro, dated 1942, is almost certain to be a true Gendaito blade.

In original polish, the 65.5 cm blade has a few scuff marks and scratches here and there, but as the photos show, is in excellent condition and bright. The tiniest tip of the blade is missing but it is hardly noticeable, nowhere near fatal and would go with any polish.
