A scarce 10 inch sawback bladed German machine gunner's bayonet in good condition.

An unmarked private purchase for an officer (or markings removed) WW1 era German KS 98 machine gunner's bayonet with scabbard.

The blade in very good condition and everything firm. The wooden grip showing cracking damage or repair, possibly period, but very firm and sound. The 10 inch blade sheathes well into the good condition original scabbard.

This is a scarce iconic bayonet treasured by collectors. I guarantee it is an authentic German item circa World War One or before.
