A good 1858 pattern British Royal Navy cutlass.
 
Very rare 1858P navy cutlass bayonet. The blade has been sharpened,
possibly / probably period; quite possibly this bayonet was used
on board a Custom's cutter as they still had use of a sharpened
boarding cutlass. 26 1/4 inch blade sharpened along cutting edge
and firm in the hilt. Hilt in good order but with some rust pitting.
