ERII Wilkinson British Royal Artillery Officer's
Sword (sold) |
In pristine condition, a Wilkinson Queen Elizabeth 2nd British
Royal Artillery officer's sword.

In near new if not new condition, certainly in parade ground condition,
this lovely Wilkinson made ERII British Royal Artillery officer's
sword is as good as they get now that Wilkinson Sword Ltd are no
more. Faced with what is available new on the market and this 1964
made (serial number 86344) Wilkinson, I would take the Wilkinson
any day, whether as a collector or as a serving Royal Artillery
officer. Why is this 1964 made sword so good? Because they still
made quality swords in 1964 and the person who bought it then was
a collector, so it has not been used.

The 34 inch blade is exceptional, of course firm in the hilt, the
hilt bright and good almost as the day it was made, the black fishskin
grip and twisted grip wire bindings are in exceptional condition,
the brown leather field scabbard looks new, the sword draws and
sheathes well, of course. Sword knot in very good order. Your chance
to grab a piece of British history marked to Queen Elizabeth II
and as new for only £800. Further / full-sized pictures available
upon request. Item reference number 903 (389)
