1908 Patt World War One British Cavalry Trooper's
Sword (sold) |
Very good condition S B & N Ltd (Sanderson Brothers &
Neubold Limited) made WW1 British cavalry trooper's sword, dated
July 1916.

A very good condition 1908P, well marked, dated July 1916. This
sword once had camouflage paint on it as there are some tiny speck
remnants on the inner bowl guard. The 34 3/4 inch blade in very
good condition and sheathes / draws well into / out of the steel
scabbard, which is in good condition. The scabbard throat marked
143 and 16 PC C3. The grip in particularly good condition; so many
are worn and aged, this one is excellent.

A well above average example. Full sized / additional photos available
upon request. My item reference number is 920
