1833 Model US Dragoon Sabre for sale

A well worn 1833 model US dragoon sabre with folding guard.

A fairly rare 1833M US cavalry sabre for a dragoon. The maker's mark just visible though not discernable. The remains of the sabre rack number on the quillon end, barely visible. The 33 inch pipe back quill point blade is very sound and firm in the hilt, but well patinated. The grip leather and copper twisted wire bindings are long gone, some minor damage and a worm hole to the wood base. The hilt in sound order. Very rare to get your hands on one on Europe.
