English 1751 Pattern Infantry Hanger Sword (Sold)

Good condition American Revolutionary War (Americian War of Independence) era English infantry soldier's hanger (sword).

An increasingly rare infantry soldier's sword from the time of the American War of Independence / American Revolutionary War. The 24.5 inch blade is deeply patinated but in good order with the Georgian crown and acceptance mark (Crown over 3 indicating the sword was made by Wooley of Birmingham around 1779). Fairly firm, hilt some movement; overall very good order.
