I recommend you post your sword details here; Antique Sword Forums.
You do not have to register in order to do this, but registration is beneficial as you can be notified when anyone replies. Some people may offer to ID / value your sword for a fee. Most people will more than likely ID your edged weapons for free.

If you require a sword identification and / or valuation (I provide UK auction and retail value estimates only), I may be able to help you; it depends on the sword and whether I am knowledgeable in that area of course. I charge £10 (GBP - British pounds sterling) per simple sword ID & valuation. If you want extra information, research or advice, this will cost more and I will let you know how much in advance.

To get an ID / valuation from me / start the process;

1) Please pay £10 for each sword you want ID'd & valued to my PayPal account:

2) Email me clear images of your sword(s) - my email address is the same as my PayPal account. Please do not send me large high resolution photos as my email account will reject these.

3) If I can not help you regarding any sword, I will refund the £10 for each. If I can help, I will send you back the sword model / type and its value (both auction value and retail / insurance value).

Please do not ask me to ID / value a sword without first making the PayPal payment. I get so many emails asking for what amount to be requests for free information that regrettably I simply can not respond to any requests that have not paid in advance any more.
