Sword / Militaria Auctions

Looking to buy and / or sell militaria online at an internet auction other than eBay? I no longer sell swords / militaria on eBay personally. I do however often place antique swords, other edged weapons and militaria (badges, medals, uniforms, etc.) here: vBid me Sword Auctions; please check it for many bargain basement items!

The auction site vBid.me was created to fill the void when eBay decided only US sellers with US located items offering only US domestic shipping can sell swords (eBay sword / weapons policy), plus to cure the problems of fraud, etc. on Internet Auctions by providing more transparency, more information and greater security. I used to sell on eBay and had 100% positive feedback as a seller (see: snr_sword on eBay), but got fed up with what goes on there!

Auction Buyer's Agent:
If you are looking for a particular sword at auction I can act as a buyer's agent on your behalf where I keep an eye out for the sword type you are looking for, get details (such as a condition report and photographs), then send you you these and bid on your behalf if you instruct me. I charge 20% of the hammer price as my commission on any such successful purchase. I require 15% of your maximum bid as surety / a deposit. You would pay the auction house directly; please remember auction houses have a buyer's premium (commission) themselves of (on average) 20%. I would help you if required source a shipping agent (if the auction house does not have an in-house facility) and advise you on any required permits (normally not required for most sword purchases).
