In very good condition, a Wilkinson Sword made British Infantry
General Staff Officer's Mameluke.
 

Very scarce Queen Elizabeth 2nd infantry general staff officer's
mameluke sabre in very good order; one grip rosette missing (simply
replaced by making a modeling clay cast from one of the others,
a little resin allowed to harden and then painted gold, or a jeweler
can make a more authentic one). Otherwise in parade ground / officer's
mess / formal occasion condition.

The impressive 31 3/4 inch blade well etched with crossed canon
and baton general's emblem, ERII cypher, etc. is firm in the hilt;
the etching every good except for some minimal sheathing wear as
to be expected. The ivorine grips in good order and firm. Original
sword knot and very good order steel scabbard included.

Serial number 91157 on the blade spine means this sword was made
